Studio Chenille

A scroll-driven cinematic website for a luxury interior design studio in Ascot, built in custom code and live in production.

The brief

Studio Chenille designs interiors for high-end homes around Ascot, Windsor, and London. A template would have said the quiet part out loud: a studio selling bespoke work cannot present it on a stock theme every other firm also runs. The site had to feel like walking into one of their rooms - considered, cinematic, unmistakably theirs - and still be found on Google when someone searches for an interior designer in the area.

What we built

A scroll-driven site in custom code, where full-frame film carries the visitor through the studio's work as they scroll - "scroll to step inside" is the invitation on the first screen. The motion is choreographed to the content, not bolted on: the film advances with the page rather than looping in a box. Every interior is presented full-bleed, the way the studio would want it seen.

The engineering underneath

A cinematic site usually means a slow one. This one is not. The live site returns its first byte in about 138ms and finishes loading in roughly half a second, because the film is engineered - not dropped in as a heavy autoplay video, but streamed and scrubbed so the experience stays fluid without a loading penalty. Structured data and clean semantics were built in from the first commit, so the studio is found by search engines and AI assistants, not just admired by the people already on the page.
